David Scott is the President of Essential Electrical Services and serves on its board of directors.

Before starting EES in April 2019, David was IES's Vice-President and was responsible for all of the company’s Houston sales and operations, including end-to-end management of IES supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets in Texas. He also headed the national aerial division and played a key role in the continued development of strategic reseller and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.

 

Prior to joining IES, David was the Houston Divison Manager for Walker Engineering and

was responsible for developing and building staff members within the divisions, and he oversaw the service, electrical, aerial and special projects departments.

Previous to his work at WBSI All-Electric, David was the Vice President of the Electrical Service division and senior project manager.  David spent 23 years with WBSI All-Electric, where he led, recruited, and trained Project Managers to target, develop, and maintain high profile and mission-critical customer relationships for core technologies and services.

David earned a BA from Middle Tennessee State University-Business, is an electrical engineer, boasts 40 plus years in the industry, and is an ICCER Electrical Instructor Professor.
